As a little girl, I spent hours creating my own toys and dolls to play with. Today, I have rediscovered that passion for making things and I’m fortunate to be able to do this for a living. It is an incredible thing to wake up in the morning and go to my studio, where I know by the end of the day I will have created something beautiful that will delight a bride or a woman who wants something unique to wear for a special occasion.
Roughly translated, Bella Chiara means beautiful light. There is a an exquisite glow or brightness that shines from a woman when she feels her most beautiful. That special radiance is what I have tried to capture in the name of my business.
My studio is based in Woodstock, in the parlour of a lovely Victorian house. Surrounded by the things that I love, I design and create custom orders for garters, veils, headpieces and other accessories.
My studio has a special area for clients to sit and drink a cup of tea whilst they have a fitting. It’s a lovely relaxing space to try on different types of veils or accessories, or design something bespoke. Feel free to bring a friend, your dress, jewellery and shoes, or anything to assist you in making a decision for a design.
